Use
The axial hinges are designed for sidehung doors and windows and
more generally for all casement sashes which are manufactured from
profiles with Euopean grooves. The axial hinges are the answer to
tree main preoccupations : installing facilities, perfect maintenance
of the sash and aesthetics.
Inatalling facility
The axial hinges are veryu easy to install.
They are frontally fixed into the grooves without machining the sash
and frame corners. Only a machining operation has to be carried out
on the sash when the profile has a gasket-bearer or a wing which does
not allow the passage of the plates.
The axial hinges can be replaced without taking down the sash.
Perfect sash maintenance
The axial hinges perfectly maintain the sash.
- the very design of the hinge with 3 articulations and an axis on the
whole height makes it very steady.
- the anchor screws of the counterplated strengthens the hold of the profile.
- the polyamid washers guarantee a very smooth operation.
The washers of the hinge with 2 articulations give a sheath shape inside
the profile and perfectly guide the axis by reducing the toleravces to a minimum.
Aesthetics
The lines of the axial hinge are very smooth. The are similar to those of the
stay-arm hinge designed for the turn – tilt gear. The mat aspect and the
metallic reflexion of the anodised aluminium silver, champagne, medium or
dark bronze emphasize the sobriety of the whole.
